murals for a child's own space

Murals are a great way to personalise a child's space, and a great alternative to the corporate imagery which often festoons the very place a child will grow, sleep and wake each day. With a mural, children can observe the work and effort being put in, or at least see the different stages of painting at the end of every day, as well as have absolute control over the image choice. And with eyebright, the price of a hand painted mural may well be less than you think.

(right) The wall was in a seven year old girl's bedroom. Her father knew she wanted a Disney based mural, but one which didn't exist as a picture because is would probably involve a cross-over of characters. Indeed it did, as she explained that she wanted to see Pluto calling on Winnie The Pooh, as he had been invited round for some honey. The only other guest was to be Eeyore.

With this in mind a composite design was drawn up and additions made to draw them together into the same scene. The addtion of an extra honey pot and a universal shadow adds to the scene
