murals for a child's development

An environment with rich visual stimulii is essential for very young eyes as it helps them to make sense of the world and its inhabitants. The parents of a one year old girl commissioned this original scene of a fantasy woodland when she moved into her own room. Nick Hallard crammed the image with as many creatures as possible, from ants to rabbits, and from worms to mice, so it would seem that there is always be something new to be seen.

(below and right) Daisy Glade, a woodland scene commissioned for a one year old girl to grow up with. The mural was designed to last until she was six or seven and contains hundreds of small creatures and insects. Note the mural is painted straight onto textured wallpaper.
