The Brighton Theatre Royal, Brighton, Sussex The annual pantomime at The Brighton Theatre Royal
in Brighton, East Sussex has a comparatively large marketing budget. However, every UK theatre always looks for good value, and painted billboards and advertising murals are an attractive way of keeping advertising costs down. They are eyecatching and give a traditional feel to something usually seen as cold and clinical.
The site for these semi-permanent murals, painted onto exterior grade plywood, was the new Churchill Shopping Complex, in areas where footfall of the target markets was considered heavy. These included the
walkway to the WC, changing facilities and crche, and outside a pre-teen accessories outlet. |
